What's available at the Hanson Public Library

Services

bookplate As a member of the SAILS Library network, the library has at the disposal of its patrons over one million items which are included in the holdings of more than 60 libraries in the SAILS network.
A title out on loan from our building, but available elsewhere in the system, may be reserved by placing a hold at a library PAC (public access computer), or with the help of staff, for convenient delivery to our library.
SAILS cardholders with Internet access may access iBistro, the online catalog, and place their holds at home. However, a trip to the library will still be necessary to pick up any loans when they arrive there! Another service available online is the Sails Overdrive collection of audiobooks and music. From the top of the iBistro page patrons can navigate to the Overdrive pages and lists of the titles in fiction and nonfiction currently available for download / checkout to their home computer and transfer to an MP3 device for portable listening.
